ANN ARBOR, MI -- June 7, 2006 -- Eiler Communications, southeast Michigan’s public relations and marketing leader, just announced that they have hired Jeremy VanAlstyne and Katie Sylvester. VanAlstyne and Sylvester will serve as interns for the summer of 2006, providing support to Eiler Communications’ staff and clients.
VanAlstyne is a student at University of Michigan, where he will graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in communications in the fall of 2007. He is a member of the UofM football team and is looking forward to participating in his final season as a Wolverine.
Sylvester is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree at Central Michigan University with an integrated public relations major and a minor in journalism. On campus, she was involved in multiple leadership activities, hall council, and the Public Relations Student Society of America. Sylvester will graduate from Central Michigan University in August 2006.
VanAlstyne and Sylvester will be tasked with a variety of activities during internships at Eiler Communications. Case studies, market research, and general office assistance are just a few of the many responsibilities these interns will accomplish.
